After my Playstation 4 bricked, I went gameless for a bit of time. I read some books. Watched some movies. Planted a garden. However, I was lucky to grab a Playstation 4 Pro as part of a deal at Target (20% off), and now I'm happily gaming again. Since this will be my last gaming purchase for a bit ($$$) I decided to splurge and get a Toast cover/skin for my PS4 as well. (If you want all the ads on all the sites you visit to be custom iPhone and Game Console skins, check out their website
). I've been a fan of this Pacific Northwest company for a bit, and have always wanted to grab one of their products. Now seemed like a good time.
Here's the process of me putting it all together (made from real wood).
I was hoping the color was a bit more like in the first two images (thank you filters), but the third/final image shows it as much more of the desaturated brown that it appears as in real life. On the bright side, it will probably match more / clash less with this color than the more reddish tones I had anticipated. Overall, it was pretty easy, and my only regret is the slightest of gaps at a seam (less than 1mm) on the back left corner which I will never see from where I play.
Have you ever "skinned" anything you have? A laptop? A vehicle? A DeviantArt Journal?
Let me know!
